Last night the 57th Grammy Award show filled up the staples center. Everyone who was anyone was up in that piece. I definitely fast forwarded through a lot of it. I'm super happy that Sam Smith won and th Robert Glasper definitely both deserving. Not a lot of performances stood out to me, is it weird that I feel that the Grammy's are so conservative? And I was hoping the camera would pan over to Breezy when el presen-deeto was speaking about domestic abuse. Also, can we talk about Sir Paul and how his mic was convinently turned ALL THE WAY DOWN??? Like this is Sir Paul McCartney...he was part of the BEATLES. Did he not look uncomfortable than a mutha when he was lip syncing to "FourFiveSeconds". Never in a million years would I thought I'd live to see the day that a Beatle would say "wildin" lol, but man how in all that is good you gonna turn down his mic? ugh!
That being said, lets talk about Annie Lennox....O-M-F-G this woman is unreal. She was the highlight of the Grammy's in my opinion. She threw it down. I even thought at one point she was going to beat box lol.
No offence to all the artists coming out but you want to entertain and be forever in the game, study Annie Lennox. She is timeless and more relevant than ever.
